About the Recipe
This is Hannah's go-to super easy spicy tomato sauce, it comes together in no time. You can adjust the heat to your preferred level by using different types of chillies, or de-seeding them before cooking - either way, have fun experimenting! It's a super easy and flavourful sauce that you can make with storecupboard staples and is great for a busy weeknight or when you just CBA to do a lot of prep but still want something delicious.

Ingredients
4 x Tomatoes
2 x Chillies
1 x Bell Pepper
2 x Cloves of Garlic
1 tbsp x Olive Oil
1 x Vegetable Stock Cube
1 x Handful of Oregano (ideally fresh)
300 ml x Tomato Passata
2 tbsp x Tomato Puree
1 tsp x Paprika
Salt & Pepper
Preparation
Dice the tomatoes, chillies, bell pepper & garlic.Â
Heat olive oil in a frying pan on medium-high heat, when hot add the garlic. Cook garlic until aromatic.
Add tomatoes, chillies and bell peppers into the pan, stirring occasionally. Cook for 5-10 minutes or until tomatoes & bell peppers are soft.
Bring 250ml water to the boil and add the water and stock to the frying pan. Season well with salt, pepper and paprika
Pour in the passata and tomato puree, and stir until incorporated
Add in sprigs of oregano and leave to simmer for 10-20 minutes on low, stirring occasionally
Serve with your favourite pasta & cheese , and enjoy!
